They look for faults in people and inflict pain, then make you pay too much for it!

There may be people who think this about dentists, but when they are having a horrible toothache they certainly want the dentist to help them.
The pain they inflict is usually due to the patients own negligence, and if it were up to patients to determine a dentists fees, he wouldn't make enough to cover his overhead, pay his staff, or even keep his office afloat.

Its is the cosmetic dentists that insist on ultra white teeth that frankly look like rows of illuminted tombstones.
Too clean and you are in as much trouble as not clean enough.
Then again, the pain inflicted by a dentist is usually over in the same day. Compare that to the pain inflicted by teachers over many years.

Sorry mate, being a dental nurse I'm gonna disagree with you on this one!
They dont set out to find fault with people, you have a toothache you wouldn't visit the optician would you?, no you go and see the person who trained for nearly 6 years to help you.
As for the pain factor, goes with the territory I'm afraid and the prices aren't set by the dentist but the government and the primary care trust and yet people still blame the dentist when they are told how much their treatment costs!
But hey im gonna be biased and stick up for the Driller Thriller!

Without dentists and proper cleaning of the mouth, your life will be miserable especially when your getting a tube needled in your arm with applesauce. Also our life expectency is shortened cause of the bacterias and viruses in the mouth. Be very grateful for dentists :P

"pink cowgirl" is wrong.... cause im having sooooooo much pain in my mouth right now and its NO ONES fault!!!! well mabey my moms cause i have the same thing as her....
