It seems it is the only thing us Brits can buy cheap, all you lot in the States gets to live for practicaly free!

Lard is about to make a comeback. It is not the essence of evil that vegetable oil producers make it out to be.
Enough lard to fry chicken pieces costs about $3.

I know that green lumps of putty are up to .0037c per ounce. A lump of lard should be easily double that.
