Go to your C: drive and navigate to Windows->Fonts. Drop the file you downloaded in there (if it is a zip file, extract the font file into this folder) and open Word. The new font should be available to pick like any other one.

I tried the site. I downloaded a zip file that contained the TTF font file and a WordPad file that tells you what's what in the font.

To install the font, first unpack the zip file. In the Control Panel, select Fonts. Under file, select Install New Font. Navigate to the folder where you uncompressed the zip file and you're set.

I find it faster to download to the desktop and move later.

--To be safe, I would create a new folder on the desktop and name it something like My Downloads.
--Download the fonts to that folder.
--When you are finished, you can copy them, then paste them --into Fonts, in the Control Panel.
--When you want to use the font in Word, click the down arrow at the end of the font-name box and look for that font.

After you have successfully placed them, return to the folder on the desktop and delete them.
