Ok, I know I'm a little 9th grader, but their attitudes really annoy me. Like, I have an art class with a few of them, and they're so mean about their classmates. It's driving me insane, but I don't know what to do about it. It's always so quiet in the art room, except these two seniors that are practically screaming about how someone did this, or someone else did that. And if anyone tells me to ignore it, I will definitely NOT pick their answer as the best answer. I've been trying to ignore it. It doesn't work. Every time I hear them I just want to scream my head off and tell them to shut up. What should I do???

I mean seniors in high school. 12th graders. I know they're seniors because once they were talking (loudly) about how they were going to graduate in 3/4 of a year, and the first quarter just ended on friday, so yeah.

Write a note to them saying " Do you realize of everyone in this class you are oldest. Yet when sitting here you seem much younger. Perhaps setting a better example than the lower classmen do, would be a better representation of yourselves as actual "seniors". You only get this role once.........many of the "younger" students find your behavior to be less mature than their own."
Then leave the note with their names in a place they'd be sure to locate it.
This may not solve it all but will certainly bring light to the fact they are seen as petty. Hopefully once that occurs they will also feel it when they do it and refain rather than appear foolish.

Well as a senior myself. I also get annoyed at ppl like this.
You know, its not only Seniors that do this, some freshmen do this too at my school ^_^
Basically u can try to talk to ur teacher and tell him/her that its bothering you.
I do not recommend you trying to talk to them yourself, without anyone there with you. You do not want any trouble.
Though i doubt that will work. Im sry to say so, BUT THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO IS IGNORE IT. Yea i know that its not what you wanted to hear, BUT if u go to the teacher, most likely not pay attention to you, cause as u said, you are a "little
9th grader... lol no offense but i find that a funny way of putting it
Think about it this way, they will be gone in a year( unless they don't graduate), so its worthless to waste the energy.

What is your teacher doing about this? Does he/she ignore them, yell at them, anything? If the teacher does nothing, maybe you should look to see if you can change your art class to another time with another teacher.
If the teacher is not in the room and you are not the only one obviously upset about it, secretly tell the teacher what happens when they leave the room and that it is bothering you and others. You can talk to the teacher in private or leave her an anonymous note.
The only other option I can think of is to find out something about them. Quietly tell them what you know and ask how they would feel if it was shouted across the room. This might backfire though, so be careful.

Do you mean seniors in high school or senior citizens? It's hard to tell by your questions and some of the answers here.

Don't ignore it...but consider that they are maybe hard of hearing. The Stones were pretty loud in the 60's.

You're going to have to get used to annoying people. The woods are full of them and you'll never really get away from someone being stupid and obnoxious.

Is there a teacher there? Talk to the teacher or complain to someone else in charge.

Talk to the teacher, and explain to him/her that it's difficult for you to do your work because you are distracted by your classmates. The teacher should handle this for you.
