Yes. So can chewing gum. Your body automatically burns calories throughout the day with activity. You even burn calories sitting down. Obviously you burn more when your more active, but you have to do a lot of kissing to burn a significant amount of calories. And I mean A LOT!

not enough to be researched...the muscles used to animate the face, chew, etc. use very, very, little energy.
