Because there is no "god." He only exists in The Big Story Big. He is kind of like Ahab, Huckleberry Finn, and Natty Bumpo.....he exists only in the pages of a work of fiction. "God" can no more do anything about these abusive priests, than Huck Finn can float down a river in front of your house.

It's also very common with rabbis, although that's pretty much kept out of the national press - just local coverage. As for priests, most of those cases were unsubstantiated allegations coming thirty after the fact in the form of a highly paid interview for a tv newsmagazine. There are very few proven cases. Don't believe the hype.

The Bible aside, I believe they will be punished for these actions, if not here while they are on Earth, than they will have to make it up somehow in the hereafter. I do believe in the saying "what goes around, comes around". It may be sooner or later, but it will catch up.

Because in the end of days the whole world will be given over to evil. They have chosen the things of this world over the things of God. That's not to say justice won't eventually be served.

May I remind you that some things in the Bible are NOT HISTORY and might not have actually occurred. What book of the Bible is one of God's severe punishments?

The majority of the homosexual priests that molested those boys are dead. People tend to forget the majorty of those case happened in the 40's and 50's and 60's, the few that are alive are in prison or have cases pending.
How do you know God has not punished them?

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

A better question might be, "why didn't God protect those young boys, if He loved them so much, in the first place?"

Wait til they arrive in hell and find out there is no such thing as purgatory.
God's justice is always just.
