First of all your schooling should be first and foremost on your mind. I say if you have a B average or better working after school for a few hours or on weekends wouldn't hurt
However you are only 14 and most states require a work permit and you have to be at least 16. I would suggest you take a babysitting course(look into the "Y"the usually offer babysitting courses) and get certified in CPR and first aid for kids then get yourself a babysitting job. Also call around to all the Home day cares in your area. When I had my day care I would always hire young girls after school to give me a hand for a few of hours. Also ask around If you live in a farming community you could work helping clean stalls and feeding animals If you are that determined you'll have no problem as long as you put school FIRST Good luck!

How about doing a paper round? Its a start and will give you a little bit of money. Its good you want to work but most places will not employ you as you are under 16. Or you could offer to do small chores for your friends parents and neighbours. Be careful though and never go in the house of someone you do not know, no mater how much money they offer you. In fact the more cash they offer you the bigger the danger, just be very careful and stick with people you know.

Only 14 there isn’t to many jobs that you can do. Try a paper route, babysitting, mowing lawns, maybe an animal shelter; some elderly people are looking for not only yard work but also household chores they need help with. Good luck

Look for jobs around the neighborhood, like mowing lawns, cleaning house, etc. I don't know of a workplace that will allow underage hiring, it is against child labor laws. Maybe ask your parent for an allowance to do jobs around the house? Good Luck!
