My husband has had what I believe from his description to be intestinal cramping for about a week now. He claims to be able to make bowel movements with no abnormality, but just slight discomfort. He has no diarreah, constipation, or any other problems. He just complains about this cramp that seems to come and go, and it is beginning to interfere with his work. If anyone has any idea what this is or what we should do I'd appreciate the help. Thanks.

It kinda sounds like IBS (Iritable Bowel Syndrome,) but we can't examine him! There are a lot of things it can be. If it's beginning to interfere with his work, it's definitely time to see a doctor.
A doctor will know immediately what it is. Then he/she will get your hubby all fixid up. Make that appt. ASAP. The sooner you go, the sooner your husband will feel better. You sound like a very caring wife. Good luck!! :)

Males tend to have cramps if they don't go to the bathroom(number 2). Your husband may indeed not have diarreah or constipation but if he doesn't urinate or release any food that may have digested and NEEDS to come out of the body, it will all add up into your instestines and clog your bladder. Having urine clog your bladder is bad, but anything else is horrible. Tell him to go to the bathroom. If he doesn't have to go make him eat things that help you digest (apples, cheese, even beans would work). Try it. I hope it works for you.

I'd say he's added something new or different to his diet in the past couple of weeks, or that he's munching on something that has actually gone bad.
