i don't see it as pornographic at all. it has a good message...love your spouse, don't stir love until it is ready. however, i don't think it's a love song from Jesus. it is a declaration of love between husband and wife, and i think it serves as a beautiful example of marital love!

So Jesus thinks I have beautiful breasts? (SoS 4:5) The word's used 4 more times.

No, IT IS eroticism. You can try rationalizing it all you want, but it still reads like a bad romance novel. How can you READ the SoS and say it's a love song from Jesus? Never mind the fact that it's part of the Old Testament, not the new.

I believe you are exactly right, we are a unique creation, made in the image of God and Jesus died on that Cross for us because he loves us dearly. We are the Bride and Jesus is the Bridegroom. His Love is beyond our understanding and this book written by Solomon helps put it into something we can understand. Solomon was the wisest man that has ever been on the earth, and God used him in this extraordinary way.

Yes , this is the popular interpretation. It also speaks of the marriage supper of the lamb prophesied in Revelation where we the bride will eat a banquet with Jesus.

In Ethiopia, it is believed that this is a song about the love that Solomon had for the Queen of Sheba.

The entire gospel stories is all a song, have you not heard it in Church?
Salomon is great, but I can put songs to every subject in all scriptures.

I have mixed feelings about this book. There are parts that I have found offensive, and other parts that are lovely!

I don't think it is really focused on spiritual love. I think it is a poetic book about physical love.
