Hit up your relatives. When writing an invitation to a family renunion include that you are in need to of money to help fund the event, need people to R.S.V.P and ask for contributions for food, drinks and paper products. Ask then to include their donation, and what they plan to bring when returning their R.S.V.P card. Also you should put a deadline on when they should return their R.S.V.P card by (which should give you enough weeks prior to the party to come up with the rest of the money and set the whole thing up). Always expect that not everyone who R.S.V.P's will show up and a few people who didn't will.
Good luck and have fun!!

Do you need to raise money beforehand? If you can pay for some of it out of pocket, then you could hold a raffle using donated items from family members to reimburse the funds and maybe make enough to go toward the next reunion. My family always has a few crafty members who make scrap quilts or wooden wall signs to raffle off. You could also do a potluck meal to save some money. You assign categories such as meats, dessert, side-dish, etc. Good luck.

Well have them RSVP and maybe add a $20.00 fee per person or $50.00 per family in addition tell them it's a potluck and they should each bring enough for at least 10 people. There you've saved on food atleast-- lol

Also like the previous person about told you a casino trip makes $$ fast and it's fun try www.adpromos.org in Southern Cal if that's where you live.

Ask your family members for money, if they refuse, corner them demanding cash because it's "for a GOOD cause"

You've given no details at all.
