Im curious how everybody else feels about my situation ? I have found this absolutely wonderfull woman who likes me very much and I feel is into me a lot ! We both try to spend as much time together as possible . We both are also single parents with boys . I have told her that I would like this to become something very special which it already is but would like more if possible ! When the two of us talk about our relationship she always wants to refer to us as best friends , even though we have a great sex life and get along great together . We both have been hurt in past relationships and are rather gaurded but still except each other openly ! My question to everyone is this does this sound like she wants her cake and eat it two or do you think there will be a prosperous future in the horizon for the two of us ? I know we both love each other but she is affraid to say it because of her past !
HELP ME OUT !!!!!!!!!!

Everything is in place for a great future and falling deeply in love takes time. Enjoy what you have now and do not ruin it by fretting over the future. She is not going anywhere and neither are you!
To be your lovers best friend is the one most important thing in any relationship of this nature and it is a very strong foundation to build on in the future, one stone at a time. The stone you are building with now are the happy memory stones and they can only be placed on the foundation in this moment coz that is where happy memories are made. In this moment. Sounds like you have everthing you could want in this moment.

She has been hurt in the past and does not want to give away too much to other people. Don't push her, but if you get a chance and she is relaxed and calm ask her why she says this. She might not anser, so do not push it and maybe ask her again at a later date. Or you could tell her how you find it upsetting that she tells everyone you are just friends.
Good luck

Yeah, I think she is afraid to commit. She has been hurt in the past and is reluctant to move to the next level of your relationship. Though her actions already place her there, she isn't admitting it to either you, nor herself. Talk to her and find out how she truly feels and if she wants to be your girlfriend.
