What would a WWIII in the Middle East look like ? HELL
How many countries would be involved? How many countries would be involved? At least eight -- Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, America, The U K , Russia, and possibly China
Will it involve nuclear weapons ? Pray God Not -- but, if one, just one, goes to that option --- it is a done deal for all !!!
Will it be total war ? World War Is Always Total
Will America prevail again ? No one prevails in a war of this type --- the World Looses --- for war on THIS scale and at THESE costs can never be balanced against ANY "win" !!!

WWWIII in the middle east by definition makes it a regional conflict. If you're involving continents, oceans and more countries or locations than the middle east, then come back and we'll talk world war III.
That's not to say a regional conflict in the Middle East will not spark a world war. The Yom Kippur war had the makings of a spark, but there was no world war from that regional conflict either.....

Also, in WWIII in the middle east I would never leave Egypt out of the equation.

WW1 Started in Serbia. It spread to most of the world. If a WW3 started and it involved muslims, we would see war here in the US. Perhaps Mexican guerrillas would be fighting to gain control of the states we attained from Mexico in 1847.
Jamaat ul-Fuqre insurgents would be taking the war to the streets of America's urban areas. I think we Americans would still win but it wouldn't be pretty at all.

WW III is here and now. It was started on 9-11-01 when the radical Islamic world went to war with anyone that isn't Muslim.
