Galatians 3:28..."for there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave or free, male or female, in Christ, we are one"

Tell me...if God does not see us as male or female...how then can he see us as gay or straight?

Why are you so obsessed with this issue? All your questions seem to deal with this in some way, with the exception of the last one.
I see it's a big part of your identity and struggles with fellow Christians, but you can't let it become the obsession that overshadows others. Having people in the world accept every facet of your life is not important if you know God accepts you. We don't belong here in this world. Don't let this make you angry and bitter, seriously.

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all bone in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Of course God can see us as male or female. He made us male and female and he is omniscient (all knowing). He himself is a Father and calls us his children, sons and daughters of God. What is being referred to in these scriptures, if you recall the things going on at the time, is that the gospel was being taken not just to Jews, but Greeks, slaves, free peoples, males or females, in other words, anyone who would hear the message and accept it. Once they accepted it and were baptized, they were not differentiated nor discriminated against as a follower of Christ. Remember this was a huge step for the Jewish thinking at the time, in particular remember Peters dream to take the gospel to the gentiles.

God does see us as male and female. Particularly since he made the two genders.

You misunderstood the verse. This is what it means:

In Christ, we are one. Race, religion, gender, etc. don't matter when you are in Christ. Being a free person or a slave doesn't matter when you are in Christ. Everyone who has accepted Christ as savior is a part of the body of Christ.

Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

Being obedient to God's instructions (on the subject of being gay or straight) is another matter entirely.

Hope I helped. God bless you.

Read Ephesians. While we are all the same with respect to salvation (no such thing as only one race, gender, etc. qualified to be a child of God) the roles of the man and the woman in the church are very different and distinct.

The reason Paul wrote the verse in Galatians was mainly for the Jews to get over themselves and accept Gentiles as Christians. It's not about what family/lineage we were born into, what church we belong to, what university we graduated from, how much money we make--that is the context and interpretation of this verse, not trying to androgynize everyone.

I believe if you will study the entire Bible, you will find that it is quite clear on this sin and there will be no need to try and twist verses out of context. We are all sinners saved by grace, but by the power of Jesus in us through the Holy Spirit we can be delivered from sins that have a stronghold on our lives. I was listening to a radio sermon today (Dr. Ed Young) and he was saying that the #1 sin that usually leads to all the others is pride. Pride doesn't want us to admit sin. Pride wants us to rationalize and blame others for judging our sin or sinning worse but we can't compare ourselves to others--Jesus is the example we have to follow.

God sees us as saved or lost. Which one are you?

What the Scripture verse says is that God does not turn anyone away who comes to him, it DOES NOT say that there is no distinction between male and female. In Genesis, He created Adam and saw how lonely he was, and created a female [Eve] for him as a companion.By your line of reasoning, then it could be said God does not see right from wrong, and vice versa.

I don't think they really mean those categories don't exist, but rather that they are not relevant to Christ.

Still, it's a bizarre concept. Since males and females are so very different, and clearly slave or free is extremely significant, it seems like a very strange way to word the "no bias" concept, if that's what it means.

The statement means that through Jesus, in Gods eyes we are all equal.

Nice try, it's better than the standard "If God is all powerful can He make a pizza so hot that He Himself cannot eat it" question that we usually get from the evangelical atheist's on here.

God does not care whether we are gay or straight. God cares that we believe in His Son, Jesus, and accept Him as our personal Savior. (Whosoever believes will have everlasting life.) The Bible does not say "Whichever heterosexual believes will have everlasting life." Those who try to add to Scripture to make it seem that only heterosexuals can be Christians and loved by God are committing the serious error of changing Scripture. God does not condone homophobia.

The point being made here is that we are all one body in Christ. Not that God does not see who we are! He made us who and what we are, so why would he not see us as He made us? He can see who we individually are and who we are collectively in the body of Christ. Your interpretation is off! The Bible condemns homosexuality and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for this reason. Make no mistake, God sees and WILL judge sin! I hope this helps!

God sees righteousness and sin-and the latter He cannot look upon. He makes no distinction. He is no respect of person.

That means the sin of lust in homosexuality is PAR with the sin of marital adultery and the sin of porn addiction and every other sin.

Are you trying to prove God doesnt care if someone is gay?
