Sweetie, I read your other questions and I know why you are asking.
Many people that can "talk" to dogs say that dogs "talk" in pictures.
Your dog knows you love her. Sit with her. Get close to her and pet her. Close your eyes and picture in your mind you and her having the best day ever. Of the two of you having fun when she felt good and was healthy. Picture in your mind when her tail was wagging, with a big doggie smile on her face and you hugging her.
Give her treats. Give her kisses. Give talk to her and tell her you love her. You can do it with words, with your actions and with the pictures in your mind. She knows it.
I'm sorry she's sick and I'm sorry you are losing her.
My heart goes out to you. She'll be waiting for you at the bridge.

Make a dog day....
Specify a certain date every year or month that you wanna love your dog
Make it like a holiday when you take a break off of work to celebrate your dog and show him you love him.
Give him treats, Treat him Nicely all day, take him for long walks and plays, get him tired out.. Then snuggle up to him and take a nap with him. I don't have a dog day
But I do like to do it on weekends....
Your dog will feel very Appreiciatted
Hope you have fun
Bye
PS and if you don't allow him to sleep on the bed with you, make a bed where he sleeps and take a nap next to him
Bye

Dogs, as with most other animals, do not understand words. But, they can empathize with your demeanor, quite easily. If you pet or hug or kiss them, while saying virtually anything in a loving manner, I guarantee that they will get the gist of it! Treat your pet exactly as if it were a baby, and you'll do just fine!

My dogie seems to not mind clothes he barley wears them unless its cold outside! And we live near a river that I let him swim in and since it's flooded so many times on out property by the river there is a lot of sandfor him to dig in! I give my Pickle holiday girts such as easter baskits and go trick or treating with him though I'm far to old but he is like my baby and he gets doggie treats in his back and his b-day cake by the was is stack of treats stuck together with penut butter and honey and also some slices of apples and mabye some well most b-days 4 mc-donalds chicken nuggets stuck in the peanut butter and he gets at least 4 gifts and he gets to open em and I bring him into each resterant for a short time and see which one he gets the moast egsided about when we have pizza I cut a few peices of pizza into small slices and put it together like a small pizza when we go to pizza hut he gets a personal pan pizza he shows he loves me by bringing in dead mice, giveing me kisses playing with me takeing a nap with me and lots more

Well as with any animal if you treat them right they will know that you love them. With my GSD I rub her ears and talk to her and I swear she looks at me with those puppy dog eyes as if to say " I LOVE YOU TOO"

If you spend time and show them lots of attention, they will know! Dogs read body language and react to your actions. I would not worry about it!!!

Give them the kind of attention they seek: hugs, the sound of your voice, belly rubs, ear scratches, treats, a long walk, a game of fetch. My dogs love ear scratches, belly rubs, and being talked to with baby-talk. :)

Spend lots of time with them and make them an important part of your life.
"I love you" is usually empty, even to humans who can understand it. But *showing* devotion can seldom be misinterpreted.

As long as you are taking care of them the way you are suppose to then they do know that you love them.
