He is a male 7 years old, Sheltie and he is acting fine otherwards, urinating and dropping fine, exept for the blood. Is there a infection or disease triggering this? Please help....

Could be major, could be minor. Regardless, when blood is involved, going to the vet is always a good option. Do so immediately. If he's not showing any other symptoms, then it's not terribly advanced or serious at this point... but that's not to say it won't be in a day or two. And it's better (and cheaper) to get things treated before they're a huge problem).

Could be a number of things...urinary infection, kidney infection, kidney stones, etc. You just need to get your dog to the vet and make sure they are alright. Good luck. Call your vet now, ok?

I work for a vet. It's probably a urinary tract infection. Anytime you see blood you need to go to the vet asap.

Sounds like UTI. Force the fluids and call the vet in the morning unless they are open now.

Get the dog to the vet! ANY blood in stool or tract is not good! Did the dog get into something maybe that he or she shouldn't have? Call you vet!

She could have gall stones like the 1st answerer said...could be an advance urinary tract infection...maybe an interal bladder rupture (in that case it could be very harmful or fatal)...hard to tell unless you take him to the vet!
