Doctrine and Covenants 101:16
16 Therefore, let your hearts be comforted concerning Zion; for all flesh is in mine hands; be still and know that I am God.

Psalm 27:1
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

The Lord Is My Light, Hymns of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, no. 89

1. The Lord is my light; then why should I fear?
By day and by night his presence is near.
He is my salvation from sorrow and sin;
This blessed assurance the Spirit doth bring.

[Chorus]
The Lord is my light;
He is my joy and my song.
By day and by night he leads,
He leads me along.

2. The Lord is my light; tho clouds may arise,
Faith, stronger than sight, looks up thru the skies
Where Jesus forever in glory doth reign.
Then how can I ever in darkness remain?

3. The Lord is my light; the Lord is my strength.
I know in his might I’ll conquer at length.
My weakness in mercy he covers with pow’r,
And, walking by faith, I am blest ev’ry hour.

4. The Lord is my light, my all and in all.
There is in his sight no darkness at all.
He is my Redeemer, my Savior, and King.
With Saints and with angels his praises I’ll sing.

Text: James Nicholson, 1828–1876

Psalms 46:10, and maybe Psalms 27:1,The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Romans 8:31, which says What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? These are some Great verses and help remind us of our God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Psalms 46:10 says "cease striving and know that I am God."

Check out Psalms 91 and 27 both are great songs about God's protection of us.

There is so much love and encouragement in the Bible; I wish people understood that God loves us so much and wants to help us with our lives every day, no matter what comes up.

The verse is found in Psalms 46:10. It is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. It speaks of God's sovereignty over all the vicissitudes of life, and our proper response of joy trust and rest in His sovereignty. I recommend that you read Jonathan Edwards sermon on this verse entitled The Sovereignty of God.
