if you are saying did satan actually alter the BIBLE...I'd say no...some stuff satan cant 'touch'. From Eden to the temptation of Jesus, his MO is suggestion..'why dont you do this..did God REALLY say that?' He didnt shove the fruit down Eve's throat or force Jesus off the temple. Given that, the likely thing he'd be doing NOW is trying to get us to question what the Word already says. If we were foolishly following principles that he twisted in the Bible, I imagine he wouldnt be so hard on the ones who FOLLOW the Bible.

The Bible is Spiritual, if he has managed to change some wording around he still can't get past the fact that as you read the Bible the Holy Spirit is what guides you to the truth. Its called becoming a Born Again Christian, Jesus said in John 3:3, Except a man be Born Again he cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven. Having been Born Again and knowing that feeling of having the Holy Spirit living in my heart I know satan hasn't changed that one. We are saved by Grace, that Grace came because Jesus Christ gave his life on an old rugged Cross at Calvery. He died for you and for me. Our sins seperate us from God. Now when God looks at me he doesn;t see my sins because I have been Born Again spiritually. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. His Holy Spirit helps me live day by day for Him. Have you been Born Again, have you accepted Christ as your Lord, to do so you must be willing to admit that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour, if you are ready to be saved and born again you can do so anytime, just pray a Prayer as simple as this and mean it, just Pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

He is constantly trying to do it all the time by inspiring different controversal and contradictory interpretations. One of his favorite ploys is to get people to regard it as a textbook, dictionary and reference book to prove dogmas instead of using it to inspire people to love God and neighbor. The Bible was meant to unify, not to divide. Satans game plan for the Bible is to divide and conquer by using the Bible itself as his favorite weapon.

Oh, he's been successful at it. That's why you have the NIV, the NAS, the Good News "Bible," etc.

King James (Authorized Version) is the only English version that's accurate.

That's where faith comes into play. I have faith that my CREATOR would insure HIS WORD would remain intact how HE wanted it to.
