he stole over 1000 dollars from my parents. only he and I know. (i didn't have anything to do with it) I don't want to get him in trouble, and i'm sick of covering for his butt. he has over 300 dollars. i tell him countless times to pay by putting it in my mom's purse. and yet he doesn't. he stole it when he was 10 now he's 13. I hate him for this, and many things he's done to me before. he's also stolen 50 dollars from me too. I'm 15
what do i do?

he doesn't listen to what people tell him, he has self cleanliness problems, and he still chews his nails, after i warned him of infection. i'm seriously at my wit's end. he doesn't do drugs. my parents are 1st generation from asia, and we're not that rich, they worked hard for that money, it's just that my dad's forgetful which is why my brother hasn't been caught... yet.

you need to tell your parents if you dont it will become a habit with him and he could end up in prison i understand it will be hard for you but its best in the long run if he is convicted for stealing it could ruin his life nobody wants an employee who has a record i know hes only young now but you have to consider these things do him a favour tell someone before its too late as asian families usually have great respect for elders he also risks alienating himself with family members if they find him out he needs taking in hand and sorting out he obviously has problems which your parents need to sort out or get him help for you have your own life to live hes lucky to have you

What on earth did your brother want with that much money at such a young age????

Be careful he has not got some kind of drug or alcohol problem!!! Which I hope he does not.

Tell your parents as he is far too young to be doing this kind of stuff.
If you tell, you will be doing him a favour in the long run.
Make him realise at this young age that what he is doing is not right so that he doesnt grow up being a theif.

Now he will get a smack from your parents - if anything.
But later on in life he will go to Jail!!!

In my oppinion i would tell your parents that this is happening, and also that you have known for a while but wanted to give brother time to rectify his problem. It will only keep making you feel bad if you keep it to yourself , yet make you look so grown up and responsible for telling the truth. This could also give your parents time to set your brother on the right track while he is still young as it will be much harder to get him to change his ways when he is a young adult and doesnt have to do as he is told, if that makes any sence? Im sure what ever decision you make it will be for the best..... follow your heart on this one. Good luck.

perhaps your brother has a subject matter. perhaps he would not thieve because he really needs or needs the phone, perhaps he merely feels the urge... Kleptomania is a compulsion, an impossible to face up to impulse to thieve contained in the absence of any economic reason. it isn't as through the different psychological issues concerning to stealing jointly with antisocial personality ailment or mania. There are celeb kleptomaniacs as well, like Winona Ryder. do no longer accuse your brother as you gained't get everywhere that way. search for suggestion from him nicely, telling him you pick to assist him with his problem and perhaps you'll discover some professional to search for suggestion from.

As sucky as it may be, you really NEED to tell your parents. It sounds like he has a bad habit that needs to be stopped NOW before he starts stealing other things and ends up in REAL trouble. Be prepared for him to blame you and stuff but stand your ground. Tell your mom when he isnt in your face or within hearing distance. Tell her everything that you know. And fess up and apologize that you should have told her sooner but the guilt of that is causing you to tell her know.

You should not protect a thief. Tell him that unless he tells them, you will. Then do it.

Unless you do something to stop your brother now, he will get into serious trouble with the police. Do you want your brother to go to jail one day? You have the power to save him. You have to step up. You will actually be saving him from becoming a criminal.

your parents did not miss $1000? I think you should talk to your parents. The thief will continue until he gets caught.

If he knows that you know, just keep talking to him gently, without menacing, that what he did was wrong. If he does not know that you know, you can give your parents a clue as to where to find the culprit. And that they should take it easy on him.

remeber its always important to be honest i think you should tell your parents because if your brother keeps stealling when he gets older it could be a serious crime and he could end up in jail. soo think about it would you rather have you brother behind bars or she him today as a better person?

tell on him. make him understand that it is wrong and that he will get in trouble for it. tell him that you will call the police

HUMANS RESPOND TO CONSEQUENCES DO NT LET HIM GO AGAIN. THIS HABIT WILL BECOME HARDER TO BREAK IF YOU CONTINUE COVERING FOR HIM!

FROM A FAMILYS MEMBERS PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I KNOW THATHE WILL TRY TO BRING YOU IN ON IT AT SOME POINT AND BE READY FOR IT .
