I think at certain times of day there are quite a few R&Ser's so if you've every noticed, the question that used to be at the top is all the way at the bottom after you've answered a question. Sure, you can ask a 'bad' question or a question that people don't find interesting but I think it's more likely that you just get swallowed up by how many people are posting. Also, some of the most insincere questions get a lot of answers. Ah, well. We still come here anyway. Best to you!

It probably means that nobody has any true knowledge on the question asked. And sometimes its on really specific topics that narrows the playing field of anybody actually knowing the answer or even having an opinion on it. I doubt it's a bad question..many bad questions on here get answered more than the good question. And what does that tell you about the knowledge and opinionated people here at R & S? There are few in numbers and numerous of ignorance present.

No it doesnt really mean it is a bad question...there is no such thing as a bad question on Yahoo! Answers, anyways it is just because you probably posted it at a time when people aren't on like night or morning..or it wasn't shown when people were answering. Or it was a question that was not interesting to people or math questions....people maby didnt know the answer. And yes that has happened to me, simply because i have asked the same question about 30 times..lol. but it is alright if no one answered..dont worry-bet lots of people answer for this hahha!

Yes, but it was in alternative medicine which is sort of hit or miss.
If you don't ask a detailed question there, you'll get plenty of half-answers from people who get all of their 'medical' knowledge from a health food store clerk. But depending on the day of the week, there is either nobody there, the type mentioned above, or some people who are very well versed in true alternative/ complementary medicine and it's applications.

Yes, lots, but I try not ask too many questions now, because I get too many answers to read, and I have lots of other things to do.
And I understand you lose points every time you ask a question.

Yes, I suppose no one knew the answer.
And if no one answers after so long the question gets deleted by YA.

I have had a couple where the only ones who saw the question were on my contact list. Hard for the hoi polloi to answer a question they don't see.

I asked a question about if anybody had personal experience with a particular rare genetic disorder and got no answers. I'm not surprised since it is rare.

It may have been just a slow time of day. Or it might have been a question that has been asked over and over and people are just sick of answering it.

If no one answers after about a day or two, the question is dropped. If someone reports the question as objectionable, it is also usually dropped.
