Isn't it a lie, even manipulative, to pretend you strongly like someone before you've even met them....
...such as when you meet someone online and need to ask questions to pretend you're deeply interested just to keep the conversation going when you know it's not authentic.

(Stated another way, how do women expect to have relationships that really work when the premise of it isn't honest?)

DARN IT!!!!! You almost connected all the dots you smart son of a gun! Congratulations! You've almost figured out WHY dating doesn't work! And why almost all relationships turn dysfunctional right from the get go! ROMANCE!!!! That's right! Your actually describing the wrongful application of romance, or TRYING to be romantic. Its funny, but true love is actually romantic without TRYING to be romantic, its pretty sweet! While almost ever relationship we get into we TRY to be romantic, we TRY to treat them like their perfection, shoot so good we fool ourselves sometimes. Which is the real kicker, manipulation usually means premeditation to teach for a selfish intention. Its actually a form of social engineering, were deceiving teaches a idea the party didn't know they were learning. Its actually really, really close to teaching, its crazy, were intention is the only difference. Just in this case doesn't always teach a true one. But most people don't mean to be cruel, they have the best intention, yes road of hell, paved in them.......But your right, honest is the only policy, THAT can end in true love, well if both parties can stand each other. Without that, heartbreak without really realizing why...... which really was; we set ourselves up for it........

Its very manipulative to presume intimacy before its developed .. especially in the case of either sex male/female
that start using word such as i love you or calling you their love after couple minutes into a conversation. Its also a planned ploy by Scammers to get you to agree with them and speed up the relationship so they can be very forward with their demands especially for asking for money.
