and then 3 hours later I go on yahoo.com to find out that the Totino's pizza has been recalled and has E. coli contamination.

I just hope I don't get sick.

I also had the con agra pot pies and now see that Wal Mart doesnt' sell those pot pies anymore.

Anything safe to eat these days?

my kids ate the three meat combination earlier this week. Luckily they didn't get sick though. One of them at the meat the others ate the cheese pizza. Luckily we don't have trash service here so we burn our garbage. I was able to retrieve to box. I am still going to send in the bar code with a very strongly worded letter about how careless their actions were and could have easily hurt my babies.

Yah I went grocery shopping today and was going to buy some Totino's pizza but I noticed there was a notice up about the recalled Totino's pizza. It seems like EVERYTHING is ending up with E. Coli these days...everytime you turn around something else is contaminated. I hope you don't get sick!

We ate it Thursday night; ( then I heard about the recall on the drive in. I'm now terrified. It can take 3-9 days to manifest its symptoms. Today is day two. I wrote in a question too. I'm drinking cranberry juice, taking good probiotics, and eating garlic. Lots of water too -- I don't know what else to do but to try to thwart it. This just sucks.

I heard about it on the drive into work yesterday. Of course I immediately called my internist, but there is nothing anyone can do until you have symptoms. Even then, there's no treatment but to keep you from becoming dehydrated. Antibiotics don't even work on it.

I also called General Mills - they were no help either saying, "Go to the doctor if you get sick". Ya think? She didn't offer a refund by the way, she said she'd send a coupon for a REPLACEMENT PIZZA!!! Ummm, no thanks?

Here's what the USDA is saying about this recall: This is a health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.

I stocked up on Totino's pizza last week as my kids just love them. They actually like the pizza when it is over cooked and almost burnt. But still I am not taking any chances. I threw all of them in the garbage. I heard if you save the UPC General Mills will mail you a refund which is nice.

No lie? I had Totinos pizza rolls just 2 days ago. I haven't been sick though. Safe food is homemade food. Well, as safe as you'll get. Less people touching it, and it's in your own kitchen. I hardly eat out at all anymore.

Eating is always risky when it comes to contamination and such. Eat plenty of RAW garlic, it kills disease and is good for the immune system.
