You can get out of the ticket if the radar gun doesn't have up to date calibration records. If this is your first or only ticket you can go on probation. It also depends how fast you were going (over the limit).

You had been shot and were in danger of dieing, or the person in the car with you was in danger of dieing and you had to get to a hospital ASAP. Other than not, I would just plead guilty and take it. The judge will be far more nice if you were wrong, admit it and move on. If you say not guilty, and then come up with some big excuse and try to BS your way out of it. That will only piss off the judge for wasting his time and the courts. Then the judge will not be as forgiving and nice with your punishment. =)

Get a copy of a book called "Beat the Cops" If everyone fought every ticket they got in court we could put an end to local government sticking a hand in our wallets under the guise of "public safety"

Here is a video of 5 other police cars showing my speed on radar is within the speed limit.

All speed cameras and hand held guns have to be regularly calibrated and records kept. I doubt if the police have time to do this as they have so many request proof.

I did it and I'm sorry. There's nothing the judge hasn't heard before and a little honesty might get you somewhere. The poor guy hears B.S. all day long, and you may just catch him off guard telling the truth.

Unless you're a Doctor on the way to the hospital to perform emergency surgery, you don't have an argument (excuse).

Yep simply say you were being chased and running for your life. That you had no clue as to the speed as the adrenaline was pumping and you were in fear of your life. Then look all scared and ask em if they seen the white mustang with the 3 guys in it throwing bottles etc. And act real scared and thankful the cops have arrived.
The key is to act Thankful for their arrival as you were sure you were dead meat, and have the look of Thank God !
I seen it in I love Lucy, and well if Lucy can pull it off so can You !

Just tell the judge you were trying to get home quick before you ran out of gas.

If you were in labor, or rushing an extremely hurt or sick person to the ER, you may have a good case.

Other than that? Pay the ticket.
