It was on the news quite a few years back and all the Ganesh (Hindu God) statues were drinking milk all across the world. The reporter tried it too and it worked. The scientific theory for this was that the marble was porous (LOL). It was amazing.....

Teresa every single statue was not terra cotta. The one the reporter was using was marble and probably about millions more around the world. And did all Hindus in India plan this conspiracy together?

Yes, that was a long time ago. The statues really did absorb milk - but the statues were terra-cotta, which is very porous, and even more so when heated (as by devotional candles).
So while the phenomenon was really neat, it was hardly miraculous.

Ah, Yes. It was a horrible time. The statues drank all of the milk and we had to eat our cereal dry. Such dark days.

Do you remember the time when the red sea parted, there were reporters who walked through the dry land, they wrote about it too.
Do you remember the time when Allah made the trees spell Shahadah ( http://www.faithfreedom.org/Articles/sina40928p2.htm )??
All these stories are myth my friend.

Yeah I remember that. It would have been more impressive if the statue had lifted the spoon to its own mouth.
