feel free to examine the parts that seem important....

i was swimming in a lagoon...i was by a wooden walkway and as i got out i felt a sting on the top of my left foot. i looked down and there was this bright red turtle...kind of big, like a snapping turtle....and it stung me on the foot. it didn't bite me...it stung me...like a bug.
i put it on a table and then i took a trashcan and pushed down on it and killed it. it's shell cracked and it was squished....like a bug, but it was a turtle.

so, what do you think?

Swimming in a lagoon = desire
sting = alert
bright red turtle = things that caught your eyes, warning, seeking attention
killed it = show ability
shell cracked and squashed = backfired, feeling satisfaction

It seems like there is some desire in your life that you may get interrupted by others. Projecting red turtle shows some attention seeking you have in reality. You may want to show off your ability to others. Unfortunately, very often you got rejected. Many times, you may feel back fired from the opportunities you have even though you are feeling content at the end. In translation, you may feel conflict about things you have done in the beginning, but at the end you probably didn't care as long as you felt good. Basically you just vent out your feeling in this dream.

Swimming in lagoon can represent you stay above the issues of life. Above stress, worry, fears, anxiety, and on and on. Sting on the top of your left foot is significant. Injury to the left foot often symbolizes walking in foolishness regarding an issue. Bright red is often the color associated with something warring against you. Biblically, bright red is associated with demonic warfare. But squashing the turtle is symbolic or you dealing with and destroying the issues. Turtle can represent someone you know who is of a slothful, mean, and ill tempered nature.

Expect the unexpected and don't judge others based on what they do becuase they could suprise you. Take everyday as it comes without expectations and you will come out on top & teach those who live with expectations. I am a psycology major and we have to interpret dreams all of the time. Some dreams can be some sort of message while others can be formed from your wants and desires.

That part of you that wants to stay locked up in a shell tries to prevent you from growing, exploring the world, developing your life - but you have learned to confront that and trust yourself and your ability to get along in the world, so you have put an end to the control over you formerly exercised by the scared part of you.

Things that are seemingly harmless, may hurt you if you arent careful... watch your steps, and the people who are in your life,
a turtle is good luck but if its red it means to stop, so dont take the good luck you may find, it may really be bad luck

but i guess even if you dont look out you will be able to eliminate that negative persona from your life?

Well, you've certainly convinced me I'm wrong-- I should have made the connection to our funny smelling Milky Way turtles earlier!

dont overthink "meanings" of dreams, mostly dreams are just random images or thoughts your subconcious gather during the day or days before, and then when your logic or reasoning turns off while you sleep, those images start creating crazy dreams, just like yours, maybe you killed a bug recently, and saw a turtle, and maybe red is your favorite color, so you came up with this...idk..that´s what i think... :) bye!
