neither. if there really was a god it would be pretty scary if the most powerful thing to ever exist spent his time manipulating a few little sports games to his liking. that's also why people need to stop being such douches and realize that there's never gonna be a good reason why they should end up better off than the other guy. life needs losers too and saying a couple prayers from time to time isn't gonna suddenly make them not one of those guys.

It is because of the human trait of arrogance and ego. We typically want to believe we are important. That is why every sports team, every army and almost every individual tends to think they are so important that a GOD would have the time , the will or the desire to care about them.
It is such foolishness.

God has given us everythin we need need and i would say that you or thay pray to God, because they acknowledged that and ask for his help.
God want to be part of our daily lives in every aspect i think that we can ask Him, but He will decide ithe answer and he does answer maybe not now and He answer by a yes or a no.
God know us better than anyone else, thus He will know what are the best for us!

Yeah, cuz we all know God is a Raiders fan, and look how bad they are. If He doesn't cause them to win, He won't do it for anyone.

One can only hope (and pray) that they are praying the following words: "Thy will be done."

Their abilities on-the-field decide who wins and who loses. They can pray for victory, but I believe that God gives them abilities and spiritual gifts...not victory itself.
