Which way does my dog look cuter? Hairy or naked?

Yes, he is a miniature schnauzer

We mostly keep his hair short in the summer so he can breathe easier, and long in the winter to protect him from the Alaska cold when he goes outside.

I hate the traditional schnauzer cut on the body - short on top and long on the belly and legs. I think it looks like a doggy mullet. The traditional haircut on the face looks fine above the eyes, but his beard gets all messy.

Naked, you can see her eyes, and the short eyebrows and beard give a cute expression.

Mini Schnauzer? For my little female mini, I like a clean-cut look, with the beard trimmed straight across, eyes clear, and feet and legs short, as well as short to shaved on the back and belly.
My preference for short is it's cleaner looking and SarahJane is training to become a therapy dog; she already visits and I want her looking tidy.

For a pet, either way is cute.

I think she would look best with just a bit more beard hanging. Not a long stinky one but maybe about 1/2 to one inch longer.

I know my female schnauzer always got her beard messed up every time she ate or drank anything so she had a trimmed up beard and my boy had a long pretty beard.

first that is not naked but I think a nice schnauzer cut would look better than totally shaved. I have seen them shaved much closer

I definately like him/her being shaved, better. You can see his/her face a lot better and the eyes look so much more better.
