My bf has 4 failure to appear warrants against him for writting worthless checks. He has already paid off these checks, but he didn't go to court because he also had a warrant for having to pay $1000 in back child support. He's been out of work and now finally has a job and is tryng to do good, but is hiding out till he can get the money for the child support. What should he do? He has a court date in December to reduce his support. He now pays $800 a month, and can't afford that with his new job.(he agreed to pay that amount 4 years ago) he had his own drywall business. What I need to know is what can he do? and what should he expect?

He has spoke to a couple lawyers and he can't afford them right now. Are court appointed attorneys any good?

What's done is done. Many things could have been done before all of this.
I would not really worry about the child support thing as he has much bigger problems. The fact that he did not appear in court will assure that he will get the book thrown at him. He needs to have a lawyer..... a real one. That is the only way out of this tangled mess. If the warrents were for something done in a short time he might get a break in order for him to keep paying child support. Even if he has to sell his car as this will cost far more in the future.
So only one other way to go. He needs to turn himself in. Go have a nice dinner and Monday morning he just goes. It is best to start it all sooner than later as the sooner started the sooner it will be over. If they toss him in jail he might get away w. time served. Either way the judge will be much more inclined to cut him a break. Hiding will lead to making things worse.
Again.... he needs to turn himself in and what happens happens.

He needs to go in front of the judge. Pick a Monday so he won't sit in jail all weekend waiting to see him. Ask for a reduced bond, and show receipts of paid child support, and paid checks. And explain he is working. If he can get a letter from his boss for the judge, stating he is a responsible employee that would help. Make sure he gets this situation under control before the police pick him up at home, or at work.

Your best bet is to get an attorney or get a bonds man before going in front of the judge. If he have a warrant out for unpaid child support they will pick him up at his new job, reason been his SS# is in the system.Good luck!!!

really convinced, if I see some thrilling or suspicious questions/solutions from someone i will examine out their about me and commonly even search for by their pastime or maybe examine the call they have signed up with(which no human being should be able to ensure yet there's a trick to it lol). Yeah that's slightly stalkerish in spite of the indisputable fact that it is recommended to understand trolls and benefit perception on human beings the following. like you're a advise Angel, what does that advise besides?

What should my bf do about his his "failure to appear" charges? - Appear. He needs to go to the court and work the issue. it won't go away. If he has the money, a lawyer can help the process.

Dump his sorry stupid A*S*S NOW! Get out while you still can! What the hell is wrong with you girl? He probably blames the world and whines about how all of his problems are everybody else's fault. Stop looking for answers to the obvious. You already know the answer to your question. YOU are enabling him to be a stupid idiot!

Why are you hanging around with a loser?
He needs to go to court and appear.
Likely, he's gonna find his sorry butt in jail.

There's nothing he can do now. He should have appeared. He should expect to go to jail.
