Christmas is Christmas; America's values and traditions are just as important as others and all should be allowed to celebrate the way the choose. America is sometimes overly sensitive in these times of big lawsuits and money hungry people. It is never really about offending people but if the offended may sue them.
They are trying to save their butts.

winterval? Are you kidding me? They can suggest they change it, but in the end, nobody is actually gonna call it winterval. And anyway, isn't Christmas a religious thing? Its not just about the Santa and the presents or whatever. How stupid!

Are we tolerant or intolerant to everyone else's traditions? If everyone is going to be offended by what everyone else does, then hurray for the 'winterval'.
Let people celebrate whatever they want, what the heck!

The think tank can call it whatever they want to but when you go to church or family gatherings people are still going to call it Christmas. What a waste of resources, like this is the most pressing issue our society is facing. LOL!

Funny how we are always trying to cater to "other people's" ideals and beliefs. What about OURS???? When did "WE" become less important than the people who don't "belong" here???
