While eating nuts is usually good for you, you should try to get some other sources of protein into your diet. Try drinking a protein shake for a snack mid day. I reccomend Muscle Milk.
I believe that does have animal product in it though, so it may not be right for you. You can purchase powders (Whey Powder for example) that does not contain any animal products.

You may not want to over do the dairy, it can cause problems. a fist full of nuts is recommended each day. I'd make it a good trail mix that has raisins or berries. You may want to consider 6 thing everyone should do to loose weight at http://www.stayinformed.info/weight/looseweight6ways.htm . It is not just to loose it is to sustain weight as well.

the important thing to remember is that you need to get the body the proper amount of nutrients so I suggest also that you take a multivitamin and that you look at how much protein you are getting, a good source of protein is soy. soy milk soy burgers soy soy soy, I know it sounds like I am harping on soy but it is so important that as a vegan that you get a healthy amount of protein and since your choice of diet excludes other forms of protein ie milk, cheese, eggs and meat, that you find a alternate source. Herbalife is a great supplemental program for vegans as it is all herbs and plants and soy. Here is the website you can check out. http://www.shopherbalife.com/healthysolutions
I hope this helps, have a great day

great idea!

nuts and seeds are 100% all natural so they are nothing but beneficial to the health. the only all natural foods that are unhealthy are the ones that you may be allergic to. no less than 20% of the daily calories should be derived from healthy fat sources.
