I wanted to do a system recovery. But whenever the load up menu pops up I'm suppose to press F10. But when I do press it nothing happens, it just brings me to the login menu. Can someone help cause I really do want to do System Recovery.

If you are trying to do a full reinstall of Windows, you need the recovery disk that came with your computer. Insert it into your CD drive, and restart. It will auto-run, and all you have to do is follow the instructions, and you will have a clean install in about an hour or so.

If you are looking for a simple recovery, you can try System Restore. Click on the Start menu> Programs> Accessories> System Tools> System Restore. It will let you restore to a previous date when your computer was working properly. You will also lose any files that you have changed since that date, so make sure you back them up to CD or external drive first.
