How much is the normal cost to rent a car in LA?

there is kind of a lot of variation depending on what kind of car you get, the gas milage..and all sorts of stuff like that. It's pretty far to drive...you may just be better off taking a short flight.

Car rentals will run from say $40 a day to over $100 a day depending on where you rent it and the model of car you chose. You should be able to drive from LA to Vegas on less than one tank of gas and there are no highway tolls on Interstate 15 to Las Vegas. Hope this helps.

Gas in LA is about $.20(+or -) higher than vegas, as of today it's about $2.95 here in Vegas. If you are going to rent a car try not to get it at an airport since there's extra fees for that. Also the economic cars will get better gas mileage than a SUV. There is no fee to travel from LA to Vegas but there's always traffic and crazy drivers...have fun!

Its less than 300 miles, so one tank of gas will do it. You can rent cars for $30 to over $100 a day. No toll roads. Tank of gas about $50 to $60.

Full tank of gas and you don't need pay any toll to go to Vegas, Freeway 15 straight to "Sin City"

About 40 dollars a day, depending on what you want. Unless you take something other than the main route you won't pass through any tolls. Petrol ... maybe 25 dollars one way, roughly.
