Sounds like Christianity is not for you.
Don't worry, its not for me either. Follow your heart not your head.

Completely wrong my dear, religion is not about politics and fear it's about self discovery and spirituality. You are already on the voyage of discovery from what you have said. Don't study Christianity, (by the way I am a Church going Christian) study what is inside you. You will not find God in a book, but out in the countryside, in the petals of a spring flower or the song of the birds. Faith cannot be gained by reading, but by listening. No one will convince me that there is no God any more than I can convince them that there is. Listen to your inner self and be at peace with whatever you believe in. Above all remember that you may not believe in God but he certainly believes in you.;

Aly, I have one good reason...because HE created your soul and desires you to be with HIM, eternally!
A relationship, with the Lord, comes through faith! Faith comes from His Word, scriptures! Knowing God and being religious, those are two different things! Knowing God, is having a true relationship...being religious, is how we choose to worship God. I can tell you, drop the religion issue, for now and seek God through your prayers! Seek Him through scriptures and meditate upon the Words, given in the Bible. He says that if we seek....we shall find! That is truth! Truth that I desire for you as much as you desire this!
In as much, I am going to be praying for you to truly seek God with all your heart, mind and soul! He is your creator and that is fact! He loves you more than anyone ever will, that is fact! You can call upon HIM and He will never leave, nor will He forsake you! Knowing God, is an eternal decision and it must be made before we die. This is not a scare tactic as I do not wish to scare anyone! It is just simply, a fact!
Praying that God shows you why it is imperative that you know your Creator!
If you want or, need to talk, e-mail me!
Gail

GOD Laws are made of three Books: The Old Testament, The new Testament and Quran as a conclusion all originated from the middle east. How can you understand GOD LAWS with out reading GOD Conclusion?

Because God will MEET you on the other side of that belief and show you a life of greater peace, wisdom, and love than you could find on this side. You didnt say anything about exercising faith to believe. You just said you studied.
Step in faith...not looking at the waves or the wind howling or the newspaper headlines...those are all just distractions to get your eyes off of God.
He gave us each the measure of faith..no one starts with more or less...you must exercise yours.

I know that being a good person definitely isn't
God's salvation plan for heaven as some think.
You must have the re-birth.Born of the Spirit.Jesus spoke these words in John chapter
three. He said that you must be born again.Does
this sound like being good to you?God's way is
the only way!

your having a hard time with it because your making it about religion and that's not what christianity is all about. It's about having a relationship with God. its about being friends with God, talking to him, learning more about him by reading his word, growing more trust in him.
Having faith to believe in something you don't physically see is hard. but once you pass the barrier of it by believing in your heart and saying a prayer of repentance and asking him to come into your life, then he will be waiting right there and will meet you.God Bless you sweetie!! :)

But you already believe in God. Belief in God is innate, we are born with it, its knowledge deep within you, even though you may choose to not listen to your heart. The fact that you have been seeking to believe is a sign of your awareness of Him by your heart. Dont doubt and think your dont believe - know that you believe, and reach out to Him.

i think you've pretty much answered this yourself
your trying to understand god
you should try to believe in him
you either do or you dont
studying him will not change your view
i took rs for a level and a2. and understand just how contradicting it all is
its hard to get your head around everything but most of all you should change the choice from your heart

You cannot force yourself to believe in anything. You could fake it, but that would be disrespectful to yourself and the faith you pretended to believe in. Your reason has already spoken. You just have to accept that you are not a Christian. There is nothing wrong with that. Be true to yourself.
