One of the most powerful motivators religion has for belief is associating disbelief with bad things. Immorality, ugliness, whatever.
When you don't have real reason or evidence you have to pressure people into belief. This form of social pressure is amazingly effective. It's yet another indicator of the baloney of religion.
By comparison, science doesn't call people ugly or immoral when they don't agree. Scientists just show the data. A far more moral method of persuasion.

You could not know beauty if you did not also know ugly! They cannot exist without each other. God "IS" beyond the dualities of the human conceptual mind. Believing only what you see with the external eyes, is not knowing that "Light" shines on the lens of the eye, Electrical impulses travel along optical nerves, and the picture is seen in the brain!

There is nothing ugly about your beliefs. God, gods, Goddess, or none, the world is what it is. Faith in diety doesn't change anything. Keep looking for beauty! Ignore people who live in guilt and fear. They resent your happiness. All the frantic efforts to make you feel guilty for not buying into someone elses religion is what I find ugly.

it is not ugly but confusing that you do not believe in god who created the beautiful world around you. Come to know the lord as your saviour and then you will see true beauty

It's not ugly that you don't believe in god, it's just not what the masses want to believe in...
People don't want to be held accountable for their actions... It's easier to blame an "entity above our our understanding" is responsible..
I don't believe this but i do believe in myself, which is who i need to depend on when the shtt hits the fan.
I will not join the masses is the lack of support for anyone who doesn't go with the flow, being happy with being ourselves is what humanity is about..

It's not ugly. I wouldn't say it really has qualities of beauty at all...but it is certainly hopeful and inspiring that you retain the ability to think rationally even when you stand against the vast hordes of the biased, faithful majority.

It is ugly because it is like admiring the Mona Lisa but not believing that Leonardo Da Vinci existed.
Ooops...sorry, my bad, Leonardo Da Vinci didnt exist. The Mona Lisa evolved from a drop of paint a million years ago.

what u believe in is what u believe in and even if you don't believe in god, there is still beauty in life knowing that nature is the way it is because of how it is, not because someone made it that way

It can't.
There is beauty and ugliness in equal measure in the world.
It all depends on the beholder.
