The only way is to get her fixed. And honestly it's the best thing to do. Being in heat can be just as stressful and sometimes painful for your cat. I didn't want to spay mine either but after doing some research I found it was the best thing to do. For anyone who has an animal and doesn't show them - they should ALWAYS be fixed. No more abandoned puppies and kittens!

You should have your cat spayed. And for more reasons than the fact that she drives you crazy when she's in heat.
Unspayed female cats run the risk of developing various types of cancer -- uterine, ovarian and cancer of the mammary glands.
And due to the estrus (heat) cycles, the cat becomes more likely to run away and be harmed. If she does get out to mate, she also runs the risk of exposure to cats with other diseases like Feline Leukemia or FHIV and if she hasn't been vaccinated against these illnesses she runs the risk of contracting them.
Spaying is a simple way to eliminate these risks from your pet's life. Not only will she be safer, but she will be happier and make a much better pet.
Spaying is what responsible, loving and caring owners do for their pets. As a result, the quality of everyone's life improves.

The only way to get a cat in heat to "shut up" is to take it in to get fixed. Why wouldn't you get her fixed? It's a responsible part of pet ownership and if you don't want to deal with her going through heat for the rest of her life, you're going to have to get her fixed.

You should take it to the vet. You are torturing an animal. Cat need at list 2 sexual partners a month to stay happy otherwise they suffer. If you do not use your cat in a breeding program it is better to get it fixed. The earlier the better.

Any responsible pet owner gets their dogs and cats fixed.. period.
wait till it's out of heat.. THEN get it fixed so It doesnt' get pregnant.
For every kitten your cat has, a cat in a shelter dies because now someone's taken your cute kitten and won't take the shelter cat.
Do the right thing..

Yeah, get it fixed. If it were to run out of the open door, sneak out a windpw, or plain get lost, it could wind up pregnant and drop a whole litter on you. So just man up and get her fixed. It's part of the responsibility of having a friggin pet. You feed it, you water it, you take it to the vet. So do your job as a pet owner and take it to the vet!

Oh, what a shame you might have to put forth some effort and get up off your a**. God forbid your cat ever requires a checkup or teeth cleaning since I am sure the poor thing is suffering from neglect.

She needs to be spayed. Not only will this prevent her from having kittens, but it will stop her annoying heats AND it will protect her from many health problems. Having her spayed is the responsible thing to do.

While I was waiting for my cat to finish her cycle so I could get her fixed, I would spray her with a little water when she'd get...um...excited. She would run away to clean herself, and I would get a little peace and quiet. But seriously, get her fixed. It's uncomfortable for her, and will annoy you.

Get her spayed.
Because my cat went compeletly nuts, I had to have her spayed while in heat. She was a danger to herself and others. It cost more to have it done while in heat since there needs to be more blood work and monitoring, but it can be done.
It cost me about $400 to get it done while she was in heat, but they cleaned her ears, trimmed her nails, and microchipped her while she was under.
