All of God's elect are considered priests.
And no sin does not transfer from generation to generation:
Ezekiel 18 KJV
19 Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.
20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
That being said, we do likewise know however that "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Sin is not transferable from generation to generation. It would be violating Ezekiel 18:20 and Romans 2:6. Everyone is responsible for their own sin, not the sin of others.

interesting question and answers considering there are some Christians that believe in the sins and inquities of your forefathers, generational sins and blessings, etc. Last year I found many books at a church yard sale with writings on this. It was the first I ever heard of it. I am surprised to see other people saying there is no such thing.

Original sin transfers from generation to generation because it is in our DNA from the first people on earth, Adam and Eve

everyone was born with sin.
that would be because of Adam and Eve.

It doesn't and no priest would ever say such a thing, at least, not a Catholic priest. I think you're a little mixed up.
