I mean, it was one thing for them as a group to ask people to accept them for who they are. It is a completely different thing for them to ask me to accept them as equal to or superior to straight people. Sorry, it is a character flaw.

It does skeeve me the whole gay thang, and there is no way I want to see them trying to act like "married" men and women. A man compliments a women, and a women compliments a man. Two people of the same sex are just roommates that mess around.

Their behavior toward straight will never ever let them become an accepted group. It is embarrassing to blacks that they try to say "well blacks were discriminated against and we are the same"

No, a superiority complex is a character flaw. I agree that no group should be seen as superior to any other for this reason. But a gay man is a man, a human being, and deserves to be treated as such. On that level, they ARE equal. A gay woman is still a woman. She still has loves, hates, fears. She still laughs at many of the same things as you do.

The matter is quite simple, really. If you (or anyone--don't take this personally) don't agree with the "gay lifestyle," then don't practice it. I have yet to ever hear a homosexual condemn me for being married to--and in love with--a woman. In fact, I have yet to hear a homosexual condemn ANYONE for loving a member of the opposite sex. How strange that the opposite is so common.

Character flaw or not, (which term I disagree with, BTW) they're still people. They are indeed equal to other "normal" people. I have many gay friends, and gays in my family. I don't see them as gay - I see them as my friends and family. And they deserve to be treated with the same respect and decency that you or I do. And not one of those people thinks that others who don't agree are intolerant. The intolerance comes in when they are denied basic rights, like being allowed to marry who they love and being on their partner's health insurance. Things you take as your due because you're straight. It's patently unfair.

I don't agree with the gay life style in the least. I used to walk into one of the studios we used at 2 am with gear and girls and young teenagers and find them doing a circle jerk.

But I am for human rights to vote and do this and enjoy that.

But their lifestyle. There should be some laws agaisnt some of it!

And those laws should apply to heteros as well

Some of them are even more disgusting.

And when you discover they are your KID'S TEACHER you get really worried!

I worked at a 1 hour photo and we HAVE to see the pictures

And one came from a girl who was a grade school teacher and half the roll was of her class and the rest of it was her and her boyfreind naked in bed smoking joints, with her bobbies hanging out and her grabbing his swinging cod.

This person teaches your kids in public school.

This is reality. Live with it, eveyrone.

Those who think ANY life style should be allowed, well, what can I say.

Let your 13 year old son have sex with his 35 year old teacher. That IS a lifestyle!

I really don't see why some people have such a problem with others being gay. It really has nothing to do with you as an individual. What other people do in the privacy of their own homes doesn't affect anybody but the people involved. People shouldn't viewed as gay or straight, but for what they are- people.

By definition... you are being intolerant. Of course, for the Christian etc, gay is just wrong, so intolerance is expected.

Gays are just lucky. Wasn't that long ago that gays were killed (in the name of the Lord!)

It must have something to do with the definition of the word "Tolerance", which indicates the allowance of something despite one's disapproval. If gay people allow straight people to marry and have sex, even if they don't like the idea themselves, that's tolerance. If they don't, that would be intolerance.

Now try it on yourself. If straight people allow gay people to marry and have sex, even if they don't like the idea themselves, that's tolerance. If they don't...

By the mere fact that you need to ask such a question shows your intolerance. I don't think most people who are gay feel they have to be superior, just equal

Edit: what have "blacks" got to do with it? You must have alot of hate in you. You must be really in trouble when you meet a
6'4" 250pd black gay guy...just a thought!!

This from somebody with the gayest avatar I've ever seen...

Sorry, but your question deserves no more than a sarcastic comment. It's a character flaw.

ADD:
They *are* an accepted group by most intelligent, open-minded people who understand that the lifestyle of anyone else doesn't automatically affect them. Why are you being intolerant and hateful to another living being?

Sorry, brother, but you are wrong. God loves them just as they are. He hates their sin, but He also hates your sin and my sin just the same. Can you say that you are without sin? Then Jesus will allow you to cast the first stone. If you are not without sin, which undoubtedly you are not, then you need to learn to love others in spite of their sin, not hate others because of it.

You don't think they're equal to you? So what makes you so much better?

Everyone to his/her own opinion, but why are you on here trying to start a fight? Sheesh!
