Say sweetie were do get your clothes they are so pretty.
She might say something like Macy's or a any other retailer like Bebe, Abercrombie & Fitch...because of course she will tell you her favorite one...Get a Gift Certificate for at least a hundred bucks....also take a look at her vanity or bathroom or any where she keeps her perfume and buy that same one
too! Jewelery but also don't buy it yourself take her to a jewelry store and sweetie say pick something nice for your Birthday. Prepare ahead of time for the credit card bills. Also if she works have flowers delivered to her job her co-workers will covet the Dozen roses and lavish praises from her friends and coworkers about how sweet and thoughtful you are....this one always catches us by suprise and delight!

Do not combine. I would be mad if my birthday was November 2 and Christmas was December 25, and my boyfriend said, "Here's a necklace for your birthday and for Christmas." No way.

It depends on your relationship stage. Are you exclusive? Have you said 'I love you'? Do you love her? Does she love you? Do you live together? Are you ready to get married?

Make sure the gift fits the stage. If you've never said 'I love you', buying her some pretty expensive jewelry would be a little over the top. Think about what she loves, what she hates, and go from there.

Ah, you men are always looking for the easy way out, wish I could do that. no, it is not OK to combine. Buy her something that reflects what you both have in common like favorite movie, CD, ski clothing item, make an awesome dinner, take a class together or even a gourmet basket with favorite treats. Another idea might be a framed photo of the two of you or perfume or concert tickets for the two of you.

If they are somewhat close togather (like between now and xmas) you can combine. If your not sure what to get her, you can take her out to a nice dinner or get her a gift certificate for a spa day ( or just a massage or a pedicure; depending on your budget). Birthstone jewelry is pretty safe to... Anything you know she would like: if your really not sure just say: okay saturday is your day, we can do whatever you want all day - on me.

Do NOT combine them, that would be a major mistake. Women like gifts.. especially more than one. The typical jewelry would be fine or something personal that she likes, whether it be art or whatever else shes interested in.
