God was made in man's image. I do not believe that there is a God, he was created in order to maintain some control over the behavior of people.

Man was made in Gods image, The Bible says in Genesis 1:26-27; "Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps in the earth."
This is what was commanded by God and this is how it has become on the earth, for his word cannot be overruled or changed, this was and still is the living will of our God.

Jehovah God was never created. man was made in God's Image. Also, the Bible is divinely inspired by God, the accounts were written by men that God chose to use.

Gen 1:26 And God went on to say: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness.
We are made in God's image.
We believe this because
2 Timothy 3:16-17 says All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.

Well, the Bible says man was made in God's image. It makes sense, since what God created he would likely fashion after himself....

Man was made in the Image of God, this question tickles me because it says it right there in Genisis that we were created in his image. How can God be made from our image when he the one that created us...thats logical. Gen. 1:26

G/gods are mans inventions, they all bear striking resemblances to him but each has magical powers. They all require sacrifices and will curse mankind at will. We've always made cranky G/gods. They takes sides in our wars, favor certain Kings and politicians and they are hopeless voyeurs of our sex lives. All are man's obsessions.
There is no evidence to support deities as being factual beings. Therefore, man had to have imagined them into existence. I find the irony totally stunning that man created the thing that controls him the most.
