This morning, when giving my mice a treat I noticed one of them looked bad. I took her out and noticed that her anus is blocked by hard feces, about 0.5 cm wide and going inside her for about a cm! I couldn't find a vet who is working today and I don't have any laxatives. I thought I'd bring her to a vet tomorrow.
She grew weaker through the day. At some point her anus must have split at one side, although I don't see any blood. Now she doesn't respond to anything. As a desperate measure, I put her in a tupper with 1.5 cm warm water in the hope this will loosent the feces and I will be able to help them out. Normylly, she'd jump right out of it, but now she doesn't have the strength to do it. I am afraid she'll die soon. What can I do for her, it's 12 hours until the vet opens? Please please help!!!

For the person who noticed my grammatical errors: I just didn't feel like consulting a dictionary at the moment.
For the ones who told me to call an emergency vet: I called all 4 vets in town _prior to_ posting here but I got only the usual answering machines (without mention of an emergency number). I suppose there are no emergency vets in my country (I am not from the USA). And it would have been impossible to get to another town because I haven't got a car. I just posted here out of desperation.
I tried massaging her tummy and noticed that her whole digestive tract was blocked, starting just under the ribcage. She must have been ill for a long time, but I didn't notice - even this afternoon, she behaved perfectly normal and begged for food as usual.
As I noticed that I can't help her I thought of euthanising her myself but I just couldn't do it despite of her not being able to stay on her legs any more. She passed away on my palm an hour ago.
Thank you all for your support.

OK ,try not to panic firstly you need to give her water ,nothing else have you a dropper that you can drop a few droplets into her mouth every 2 hours at least, secondly if you can remove the poo with a bit of toilet paper ,just pull very gently.keep her warm wrap her up on a warm not hot, hot water bottle and keep checking the bottle so you can refill it when it gets cold.remember water all through the night.hope it all goes well.get her to the vets first thing as soon as they open.

You should be able to find an emergency veterinary clinic. They are open pretty much 24-7. If she has a rectal tear she needs medical attention right away. You can try to use a mild, water based lubricant around the anus to reduce friction and keep the tear from getting worse. That may also help her pass the stool. She sounds like she really needs to see a vet.

If your pet is "dieing" (correction: dying) and it's "urgent" get up off your butt and take her to an emergency vet. Emergency vets are open when regular vets are not, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays. Stop wasting time diddling around on the computer and start calling vet's offices. Blockage like that is life-threatening. Why in heaven's name you would be wasting time asking unqualified strangers instead of making phone calls and finding a vet is beyond comprehension.

I live in a small town and if you phone the vet on the answering machine there is a emergency vet number look in your phone book and find the first one that says 24 hour emergency service. please like the others said don't waste your time on here you must not really care if your on here and not trying to save your pet sorry for being blunt but its the truth.

The mouse needs to see a vet (for treatment or euthanasia...if necessary), there's nothing you can do at home. Please don't allow her to suffer any longer...medical emergencies happen, so there's always a vet available.

Edit: If you give us the city and state, I'll help you find one. Although, calling information, looking in the phone book, an internet search or simply calling one and listening to their emergency instructions should be all that is needed.

Edit: I didn't realize your location. I'm sorry she didn't make it.

Vet, immediately. There are emergency vets in every city. Call the vet, because everyone of them, even when closed, will direct you to an emergency vet. and get off the computer

Sorry to hear that your mouse passed away. It sounds like you did everything that you could in your paticular situation. If caught earlier it's possible that your mouse could have got medical attention. Trying to pull it out yourself would not have been advised. This could have caused further damage. There is a genetic defect (can't think of the name?) that can cause a similar situation. Make sure to check your remaining mice for this problem. Good luck with your remaining mice..

There are no vets on yahoo answers. Keep calling the vets! A good vet will not let any animal die in pain!

A little boy had a flea as a pet and sent six months teaching it to sit up and beg and roll over on command. He placed the flea in the middle of his desk in his room and called his dad up to look at his pet, but didn't tell him what it was. His dad came to his room to see what the boy wanted. The boy said "I want to show you something special!" His dad looked around the room and saw a bug on the boys desk and smashed it with the palm of his hand. "Damned bug! Now what is it son?"
