I dont know if my dog is in heat. She's not bleeding but her private is all swallon and her teats are big and kinda hard. but i need to know if she's in heat or not. thank you for all of your answers

She's probably just about to go into heat. Keep away from males for 3 weeks, then get her spayed. Some vets will even spay during heat.

sounds like she is going into heat and you might not necessarily see blood now but keep her away from males for 3 weeks and try to get her spayed afterward her first one will be worse the rest is down hill

sounds like it to me.
the blood will come next, it's it's her first heat it will pobably last 2-4 weeks, (my dobermanns first heat lasted 4 weeks, though i've since had her spayed)
i don't think the next heat lasts that long though.

blood isnt always present in dogs but the swelling is a definate sign

I would say that she is. I've had many female dogs and a few never bled at all that noticed.
