Please need information. I'm looking for Van kedisi in Istanbul to adopt. Maybe someone knows homeless one?

Thanks for everybody for help and information. I will not get that cat out from Turkey so it will be easier. We will find for her or him home in Esenler.

I found lots of web sites of Veterinarian clinics in with adds for Van cats put for adaption.

I will give you some links with contact information included but please check out the export conditions with the Vets since I remember that the exportation of Van cats are limited.
I dont know your level of information about special conditions and illnesses of Van cats but refer to a Vet before adopting one.

I see special breed cats out for adoption from time to time. For example I had to refuse a chinchilla because I already have two cats. But you have to be on the lookout for some time. If you have no problem with Turkish, or if you can get help, try this site:

But you should know that Van cats are under protection and you should learn how to get them out if you will.

A homeless van kedisi,you must be joking =) they are so valuable that it is 1 in 10000 chance for you to find it.

But they are sold in pet shops.you can find cheaper ones in Eminonu,just the left side of Misir Carsisi.

Hurricane kardeş is right, we have got one in the house I would be soooo happy if you had her but my mum would kill me :D

you will have to get one from a petshop but I heard they are not to be taken out of the country as there are not many of them anymore, check it out...
