It's against what law? It's only done when the person with the belief ridicules or condemns others who do not believe as they do.

I've never heard that mocking a religion was against the law. Where did you get that from?
Do you ever feel your self thinking the Greek gods were silly or that believing that the green man is part of the forest is superstition? Then you are just as guilty of "mocking".

Mocking is unkind but not against the law. Here in the United States we have something called the 1st amendment which for now guarantees that people can say whatever they want to.
I support the right of others to mock what I believe. It is part of being American.
That said, it is not nice and it would be better if people would actually listen to the point of view that others hold. We may actually grow as people if we did that.

I make fun of some of the spiritual ideas people have, at times, to try to reach them. Spiritual ideas have consequences in the real world, and must be held accountable, if they are harmful. I do not mock religions, in the sense that, I call them names. I would not do that. I always have some moral point to make. We have so many problems in this world and so much abuse, that one has to have higher expectation from our religious community. Religions are suppose to elevate the moral conduct of people, and encourage them to contribute to a more positive future for this world. I am glad we have religious freedom, so that it is not against the law, to fight verbally for the best in spiritual ideas.

I'll stop mocking the "Religion of Peace" when the Sunnis and the Shi-ites stop fighting each other.
I'll stop mocking Scientology when... um... no I won't! That bit about Xenu bringing people to Earth in DC-8 airplanes, stacking them around volcanoes, blowing them up, then brainwashing their ghosts who are still annoying us today is just too darn funny.

Against the Law? Sorry, but you did not tell us what country you are from. This is the United States of America. That kind of law belongs only in a Theocratic Government, of which we are not.

people will mock and redicule anything that they don't understand. They should just say i do not agree with you and that i feel that my faith is correct. It is wrong but it is not against the law although it is classed as raciest to redicule muslims etc in the uk

It's not against the law. I can say whatever I want about Islam and Christianity. I mock them because they are inane and often dangerous.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me and I know I am mocked. I do my share of mocking, as well. I think it sort of keeps us on our toes and make us aware every day of our spirituality and WHY we believe what we do.
