I'm an environmentalist and a card carrying member of the Sierra club. There are too many people on this planet.
My wife and I have had 1 child... and that's all.

I don't think any couple should have more than 2 children- one to replace each person. The population is way too big, and growing. If we can at least keep it the same, we'd be doing something great for the Earth, and for the quality of life for the generations to come. It'd be nice for them if the whole world didn't look like downtown NY.

Seems logical, but atheists are usually also more concerned with the good of the planet than they are with passing on their name or beliefs (many atheist profess to allow their children to choose on their own whether or not to bellieve in God). So, they tend to have less children in order to reduce the depletion of the earth's resources for the betterment of all mankind.

I find it funny that you think you are smarter or more educated because you don't believe in God. So do you also think that rich people should have more children than poor people because they are more likely to get a better education? This is one step short of genocide thinking.

None until I can provide for them fully.
And even then, adoption is preferable. Why bring more children into the world when there are those already here who need parents?

Yes please tell me how many children you think is ok, and your level of education. If I'm more educated than that, it means I get to have at least one more than you and raise him Catholic, right?
