With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.
According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

No... there are all walks of life who are into survivalism. Case in point: When the TV show "Jericho" got it's first Yahoo group (kind of an official one), the survivalists oozed right out into the public light, arguing amongst themselves and over-focused on that aspect of the nuclear problems the show discusses, etc.
Survivalism isn't really such a bad idea, given the possibilities of destruction we humans can do to each other and those which come from nature. It sets you up to survive and maybe even be of help to others if you choose to after a problem.

I live in an area where there are many "survivalists". I personaly know several of them... of the ones I know, I would state that only one is a True Christian. A couple think they are "christians" but they are not... the rest are of many different backgrounds, nationalities, creeds, and states of mental abilities.... most all are a bit fanatical in their politics... All are dedicated to the preservation of individual freedom and choice of lifestyle and the basic concepts of The American Way of Life...

...Should I mention that I have a Zombie Survival Guide?
Along with books on back-to-nature living and how to get by with no technology...
Although in my case, I guess it's not paranoia so much as curiosity.

I doubt it. I have some of those tendencies. I don't go overboard or anything, but it is there to a point. I think it came from the military with me.
