What would be the major?!

Not college, but there are a number of trade schools that can offer this kind of training. Keep in mind that these are NOT public education institutes, and the schools are in the business of making a profit. They cannot guarantee that you will get ANY assigments or placement, although, some of the better ones may offer assistance in this part.

YOU pay fees and they provide the training. It is up to you if you can make anything of it.

No ,you cannot not go to college for modeling but why would you? Modeling is a skill unto itself and some people are just born with the right genes and bone structure, mostly it is about personality and being professional but there are many careers affiliated with the modeling industry that you can go to college for (scouting , buying, fashion editor, beauty consulting,etc,)but just like modeling sometimes it's just about being in the right place at the right time.

I don't think they offer the "Art of Being Vapid" in colleges.
