I think you've seen one too many episodes of Charmed.
You can't wiggle your nose or say Hocus Pocus & have what you want appear in front of you. Spellcasting is like an active prayer & a way of moving universal energy to aid you in getting what you desire. You must also work on getting it in the physical world as well. You can sit around & pray for a job all you want or cast all the spells in the world but untill you go look for one, it will not fall in your lap.

To find what may interest you I'd suggest reading different books. If you can finding some one to teach you would be great too. what interests me may not interest you.
I have before. but not often as I consider all possibilities first, and only after determining that I can not take care of what ever it is through mundane means alone.
My results usually work out well, I'd say because of my care full thought and caution. Though some have backfired in one way or another.
Some advice if you are considering magical practices... think it through and be sure of what you are doing. Remember also what others have said.. it is not Hollywood.

Yes, I do it all the time. I keep it to myself though, people have a very "hollywood" idea of it.
You must be careful and obey the 3 fold law.
Once we had unruly neighbors living upstairs from us- and I cast a spell that our neighbors would leave us. My neighbor across the street died (age 48) and our neighbors behind us moved.
I did the spell again, being more specific, and I ended up getting $10,000 for a downpayment on a house and WE were the ones who moved.

As an initiated Second Degree Witch, it seems as if that is the first question that people will ask about my practice of the Craft. Actually, spellcasting is not on my list of daily activities. I won't go into what all the other things I do daily, only for lack of space and time here. I consider formal spellcasting as something rather special, thus I save it for special needs, etc. And yes, if you know what you are doing they very much are effective. I also don't consider them "Black or "White" as one must always consider who and what the spell will affect. Being ethical is always of importance.

Yes, I cast spells. Some are more effective than others. I've had some amazingly immediate results and I've had others that seemed to have no effect at all on the situation. I don't think anyone should be spellcasting without a firm spiritual foundation and an understanding of the consequences of what you are doing.

It's nothing like Hollywood. No one can defy the laws of nature or physics.
Magic is about internal change. It's natural, not supernatural. It is the result of self-hypnosis, positive reinforcement and symbolism. If you can change yourself, then you have more power than any external phenomenon.
