At this time Satan has dominion over this earth. He is the one who causes all the pain and suffering. He is the power behind the rapes and child molestations. He is the reason for perverted behavior, not God.
In general, humankind decided long ago to follow Satan because Satan is a very convincing liar and can easily manipulate some people. Since humankind decided to follow Satan, they, in essence, gave Satan ruler-ship over the earth.
However, God sent Jesus Christ to grow into the ultimate sacrifice. No other sacrifices would ever be needed again and His crucifixion and Resurrection paved the way for humankind to receive eternal life. When Jesus paid the ultimate price for us, He also took back the deed to the earth with the promise to return in due time. When that time comes, Jesus will open the scroll (deed to the earth) and re-claim what is rightfully His....believers in Him.
If people do not believe in Christ and if they do not receive His gift of eternal life, they will suffer horrors unlike anything humankind has ever seen thus far. If you think things are bad now, wait until the Apocalypse.

I'll bet that makes his heart break. We weren't created for this. We weren't meant to suffer. We suffer because we're a fallen creation that is now separated from him because of our fallen state. God is the source of all good, anything good you've ever experienced in life. We suffer because of our separation but he suffered more than anyone to bridge that gap and bring us back. If you think God doesn't care about you you're wrong. But right now he's giving everyone a second chance to turn to him before he puts a permanent end to the sin and suffering of the world. Do you know that if he were to do that right now you would be destroyed, and everyone else who hasn't turned to Jesus for protection from his righteous judgment? A truly righteous judge will punish every little white lie, every lustful thought, every tiny theft, because he cannot excuse even the slightest wrong. Otherwise he would be a corrupt judge. What Jesus did was stand in our place so the punishment falls on him instead. That way God's perfect justice can be served and you can go free. He paid the debt we could not pay. It's up to each of us to choose, either we accept that Jesus did this for us or we suffer our own debt in hell...which is the total absence of God. There is no other way.

i already answered a question like this either this morning or was it last night.
the real issue is not that.
The real issue is time.
Does God want to stop Evil and Suffering = YES
Does God have the power to stop Evil and Sufering = YES
So both yes, the question goes down to "why hasnt he stopped it yet"
One of the reasons is this.
God wants to give us more time to repent from our sins so we can be a part of the new heaven and new earth.
You see,
Even if God snaps his fingers right now and ends all disasters and brings the earth back to the way it was in paradise.
it will only take us less than 10 years before we pollute and destory it again.
So we are originally the problem when we rejected God in the garden, but aside from that.
IF God snapped his finger and ended all wars and problems and famines etc.
How long till we use our greed and start new wars, start hording the resources and try to build our own empires again?
Less than 6 months.
So, if God has to stop our evil actions.
he has to stop our evil words
he also has to stop our evil thoughts.
Thus NO FREE WILL.
So what is an alternative?
If we ourselves decide that we don't want to be this way anymore.
And so thats whats happening.
he is giving us time to make up our own choice that we want him to rule over us with justice and peace and love for all our brothers and sisters.
but you see, there are people who dont want that. and they are still on earth..
so even if half of us want it, it cant happen until they are no longer here.
That is the sad part. people will have to be seperated into a place where they cannot do any harm to anyone.
So God does want to end evil and suffering, but he is taking his time.
What are you doing while you wait for that time is what God will judge you on.
Are you going to be part of the new heaven and earth
or be part of those who are to be excluded?
Have a change of heart now, rather than having a change of mind later.
Do good to others.
love your neighbor.
be generous.
start with 10% of your money and help those who are suffering... its easy for us to hold our thick wad of cash and wave it around and say, why isnt God feeding these africans.
Then God looks back at that fool and says, I gave you life so you could answer that question.

The devil has set himself as the god of this world. He is the very cause of all and everything that is bad. There is no good what so ever in him. People are the reasons behind all suffering, pain, and stuff like that. Not God. God is not going to do, what man can do. That is like saying, well, I'm going to by my son and his wife a car, even tho he has the money, but he just won't buy himself a car, so I will for him.

Let's say there isn't a god...who is the cause of all the suffering, rape, and just plain bad stuff?
Humans...humanity...we are the cause.
So if there is a God and we have freewill...then we caused this on ourselves. None of it is all that bad (in the scheme of things)...so it is like telling your children not to play with fire and they do anyway. You might let them burn their fingers just so they learn through experience. This world is our creation and hopefully we will learn and choose another way.

Please, take alot of these comments to heart. You are REALLY blaming the wrong one. God is not responsible for any of this stuff. Man is! I used to wonder too, why doesnt God just come down and stop all this suffering? And to put it extremely simple, God gave us the power to choose. It's unfortunate but some people misuse this power. I hope you feel inspired in some way to change your perspective. In Peace

When my daughter was but a child, when she was first learning how to ride a bicycle, she fell off and bruised her shins. That proves I don't exist?
God could stop all the wickedness. He would get rid of every selfish person on the face of the planet, and all wickedness would stop.
Question: Would YOU still be here?
God has chosen, instead, to appeal to the minds and hearts of men to repent of their evil ways. He said "Come now, let us reason together. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as wool." He is trying to reason with us to turn to Him. He said "I do NOT take pleasure in the death of the wicked." God said that He doesn't want ANY to perish (in hell forever), but that ALL should come to repentance. He cried out, "Please choose Life, that you might live!" (Jesus said "I am Life."
Now, the REAL question is, are you put of the solution, or are you still part of the problem? If you haven't repented before God and given Him the rightful authority in your life (ie if you're still rebelling against His authority and not serving Him), then you're part of the problem.

Because we are all born into sin, this is not our home, believers in Christ that have faith will be going to thier Home in The Holy Kingdom where there will be none of this, all unbelievers and evil doers will be gone.
God gives each of us Hope, Hope in an eternal life of Bliss, we pass up that hope when we give up on God, or don't even try to see the Love and Mercy Jesus Christ showed for us by going to that cross for our salvation, but you have to remove your spiritual blindness, this is about you, you, you, where you personally are going when your time is up here, you have that choice to make, and it is REAL, I could never be more Sure of anything, its time to start thinking about where you will spend eternity, God loves you and is given you a chance, a Gift free.

There is a God. People are the ones who kill and rape and steal, etc. God has nothing to do with that.
Our bodies are human. We get sick; we get disease. Sometimes we bring this on ourselves through our lifestyles, what we eat, drink, etc.
Don't blame God.

44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
