me and a friend a are writing a book of torturing people and we want to get people's ideas in how would they would torture without killing them fast. so how would u torture someone.

Use tried and true tactics. I'd do random things, such as hammering wooden planks under each fingernail, until it pops off. Then, I'd use vice grip plyers to slowly clamp down on each finger, until it crushes the bones like chalk.
Then maybe do something like the scene in Casino Royale. Cut out the bottom of a chair, make the guy sit in it naked, and slam a roped ball into his sac.
Also things like slowly bending the arms backwards until they completely snap. Same for the legs. I'd cut off his eyelids so he can't blink...and make him watch everything I am doing.
Maybe cut off his lips... little things like that bringing him JUST to the edge of death, but I'd make sure he held on as long as he could...
Torture is an effective form of interrogation, and has been used as such for thousands of years. Today the world is full of politically correct pansies. And these same pansies are the ones who will be crying when something terrible happens because we couldn't get any useful information out of someone.

Immobilize them per Alex in Clockwork Orange, then force them to watch Benny Hinn for an hour. OK maybe too extreme, for 5 minutes then.
