One answer is right in my opinion..you're abs are there they just need cleaning of the fat around them!!
Once you get away from the myth that a 1000 crunches and 500 situps a day is all you need to do for great abs, then amazing results can be seen.
Different people take different times but you can guarantee you re not wasting any energy when you follow this guide.
Some secrets and tips can be found on this website and it also includes an amazing step by step guide. Lots of diet tips as well and find out why most of the gadgets like vibrating belts have no effect at all.
It helped me..have a look at

Run more. Run on your non lifting days and/or run longer after your workouts. Two or three miles per day will make substantial improvements for your body. It is important to be concious of your diet, but i don't believe in having anything that's too strict. Pick up a copy of The Abs Diet, stick with their nutitional guidelines and in a few months, you'll see drastic changes. I still believe that cardio is the key to getting cut.

To show off your abs, you need to burn off the layer of fat that is covering them. To do this you need to go on a calorie restricted diet and do a lot of exercise including cardio and sit ups. The layer of fat will not go away by simply doing sit ups and crunches. If you already have a low body fat percentage than doing situps and crunches will help you. Don't go crazy with them. A lot of people go to the gym and fo hundreds of situps and crunches every day. They treat their abs differently from every other muscle in the body. Treat them the same as you would any other muscle and you will see improvements.

To develop the abs you need to do target specific exercises that will build and define this area of your body.
You should do more setups and crunches and also palates or the gazelle exercises equipment.
You should also be ingesting more protein and have a over all balanced meal.
I suggest that you use soy protein as the body can easily digest and absorb this type of protein but is also easily mixed into shakes or soup or whatever you wish
You can check out this product at http://www.loseweightnow.com/healthsolutions You will find a whole area of products that are geared to help build muscle and also stamina Hope this helps

You know the routine. Only eat when you're absolutely hungry, try to drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, excercise regularly to keep you metabolism going. Sorry, but it's unlikely to loose a pound a day with even the bes diets, unless you become anerexic, which wouldn't be a very good choice :).

getting a six pack is all about the diet and decreasing body fat. the best exercise program will result in little physical changes in the body composition with a poor diet. it's like trying to build a hurricane proof building with substandard building materials.
you are what you eat.
