I find a secretary of ours very questionable in the way she dresses. She is a shorter woman, so clothes should be a little bigger on her than usual, especially skirts. Not in this case, I would fear bending over if I had worn skirts as short as she does in our office. Another thing in question are her shirts and how low cut they are. She does not have boobs to begin with to show off so you could probably see her nipples had she not worn a bra. Our company does address their policies on dress in their policy book, but I guess do not enforce them well. Is there a way to bring this up to an office manager that does not make you look bad and just uncomfortable with it?

I would like to also add that this is a Law Office that is allowing this to go on.

Are you in HR? If so, it's your duty to inform her of the dress code and tell her to dress appropriately. If not, you can privately and politely tell her the same thing or let it go or tell her supervisor.

How does it affect you. If you can see her I'm sure the Office Manager can as well and it would be her/his job to point it out. Gossip will always make you look bad, if it troubles you so much approach the secretary and tell her that her wardrobe disturbs you, or in the alternative, interoffice a "dress policy advertisement"

proper dress is clean tidy and respectable and not revelling i used to work in a solicitors and they didn't really mind as long as your skirt wasn't to short. Has any of the clients made a comment or given her looks if so you could take this to the office manager or you could just say that you feel that her attire is unacceptable (if more than 1 of you all say this) and that it is making you uncomfortable around her. you also should sound that you are not criticising her

I have been in that same situation, and realized that the attorneys (guys) get off on the girl hanging out of her shirt and spilling out of her skirt. She likely knows it might be job security. Stupid, I know. Poor thing, just too insecure to know better. Ask your office manager about it.

Just bring it up as a concern of how it's making the company look....do they want a reputation for having people dressed like that working for them.

Anything you say will only come back on yourself. If she has very small breasts she'll have to show off more of her chest to be interesting, ditto with legs.

posting a picture might give me a better idea just how serious an offense this is.
